“For no one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws me to them, and at the last day I will raise them up. As it is written in the Scriptures, ‘They will all be taught by God.’ Everyone who listens to the father and learns from him comes to me.” – John 6:44-45

I come from a long line of Ministers, Reverends, and just plain Christians but I was not one.  I had attended Parochial school as a child, been Christened, taken Communion classes, and attended Sunday school – I knew all about God, but I didn’t know Jesus.  One fateful day in February 2021, all of that changed and the seed that had been planted so many years before began to be watered.

Little did I know, I was about to move into a season of transition.  After all, His timing is perfect, never early and never late.  Over the next several months life began to shift.  I recognized that I was being led to make a BIG change – to start a company with a mission to help others on their faith journey.  There were so many questions that I still had.

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians 4:6

Flash forward to December 2021, after several months of prayer, time in the Word, and spiritual growth, Elements of Grace was officially formed.  I had spent nearly 20 years in corporate America and been successful but knew that I was being called to something else.  See, I don’t have a background in jewelry, design, or any of the normal subject matters that are pertinent to this industry.

So, there I was, sitting on the floor of my parents’ guest bedroom in Colorado over the holidays knowing that I had been called to start a company.  A company in an industry that I have almost no experience in.  And a Christian jewelry company; I was a brand-new Christian.  Yes, I had become very involved with my church, taken on a leadership role, and hosted a couple Bible studies, but I was still a new Christian.  It was so intimidating.

“But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.” – 2 Corinthians 12:9

As I submitted to His will, the pieces fell into place; I saw God’s hand at work.  He brought inspiration, relationships, materials, and opportunities together.  Elements of Grace is more than just a company, it is a testimony, a ministry, a helping hand to the community, and hopefully, a prism through which God’s light can shine.

So here I sit today, excited about the future, grateful for all that God has done, and expectant of so much to come.  New collections are being designed, partnerships with charitable organizations are being formed, and expansion is on the horizon.

“Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share.” – 1 Timothy 6:18

One tenth of every purchase (no matter the size) continues to be given to charities every month with a prayer that God will take it and multiply it each time.

‘"For truly I tell you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you."’ - Matthew 17:20-21
