That discouraged look on his face led me to go home that night and make a pair of earrings that would become the foundation of the Heaven Sent™ collection.  (Yes, he was the first to get a pair of earrings from the collection.) Later, as I was creating the advertisement for Heaven Sent™, I was reminded by the floating pennies of the pennies that my mother and I would find after my family lost my little brother over a decade ago. She tells the story of how this little boy that she and my father raised would always leave little treasures in his pockets. She would find them along with all of his pocket change when she was doing the laundry.  That story led to the charm necklace which is a part of this collection.
